Dr. Olga Pasternak-Wise, Assistant Professor of Radiology, represented the Radiology Department at the 2023 SNMA (Student National Medical Association) Annual Medical Education Conference (AMEC). The conference--which aims to provide networking opportunities for underrepresented minority medical students, residents, and fellows--took place in Hartford, Connecticut from April 5th through April 9th.
Dr. Pasternak-Wise was an exhibitor at the conference. She was among many exhibitors representing different departments and levels of education within the University of Chicago and Pritzker School of Medicine. As an exhibitor, she answered questions regarding the Radiology Departments programs and application processes as well as formed connections with attendees. In addition to meeting with exhibitors from various institutions including UChicago, attendees were afforded additional networking opportunities including meals and presentations.
